The Centre for International Financial Crimes Studies -- Levin College of Law University of Florida, Gainesville Contribution to the University’s Mission of Research, Education and Service REPORT - (2008) I MISSION 2008 In 2008, the Centre for International Financial Crimes Studies (CIFCS), continued to engage in academic research with the mission of providing graduate university instruction, research and policy analysis, international academic symposia, and grant supervision such as working with USAID and Management Systems International. Consulting services were provided within the context of financial crimes, terrorism, organized crime, money laundering, asset forfeiture, and cybercrime. CIFCS also assists in graduate education, research and policy analysis, advisory services and training. In 2008 analytical papers were produced for the Centre and published. The Director served as Technical Consultant USAID Role (Rule of Law Enterprise) in Kabul, Afghanistan.
