The Center for School Improvement promotes research in the College of Education (COE) by supporting COE researchers, fostering cross-departmental and cross-college research and collaborative research with public schools and by disseminating COE research findings. In addition, the Center promotes and supports practitioner inquiry as a primary mechanism for school improvement, and facilitates the development of school-university partnerships targeted at school improvement efforts, supporting grant-writing and other collaborative endeavors.
