The Institute of Molecular Biophysics (IMB) is a multidisciplinary institute with the primary unifying theme the use of biophysical and biochemical tools to probe living processes. IMB is the home of the Molecular Biophysics (MOB) graduate program which trains Ph.D. students under the supervision of faculty from six FSU departments. A subset of IMB faculty constitute the Structural Biology Program, a research group that studies the structure and function of large molecules and molecular assemblies.
