|Mission:||The Florida Atlantic University Center for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology was established to develop training programs in molecular biology and biotechnology, build strong research programs in functional genomics and related fields and serve as a magnet to attract biotechnology industry to this geographic area. The techniques used in molecular biology that have made possible the recent advances in genomics, are the basis of much of the pioneering work going on in virtually all fields of biology, and are fundamental to the entire biotechnology industry.|
