The mission of the Aeropropulsion, Mechatronics and Energy (AME) Center is: 1) To develop transformational research programs by leveraging collective intellectual resources, physical infrastructure and synergistic collaborations of researchers in the multidisciplinary fields of Aero-propulsion, Mechatronics and Energy; 2) To strengthen education and training of engineers and scientists for the cultivation of a highly-skilled workforce fully prepared for success in a globally competitive, knowledge-based economy; and 3) To establish strategic alliances with government and private enterprises for the expansion of research innovation, promotion of entrepreneurship and commercialization of revolutionary technology developed at the Center.
