The World War II generation is dying off and much of their history is not being professionally preserved. It is of prime importance that the experiences of the millions who fought in this "Good War" be kept alive for future generations. The goals of the institute include the following: a) the collection of World War II memorabilia; b) the preservation of those materials; c) the collection of oral histories; d) the indexing on the Internet of the Institute's collections.
