Mission |
The Center for Management Communication is committed to promoting excellence in business communication through classroom instruction, research, publication, and service to the University and to the community. Courses integrate the most current strategies and methods from communication research in management communication, organizational behavior, and neuro-linguistics to teach students how to integrate and communicate information persuasively, address diverse audiences, and adapt messages to suit a wide spectrum of demands and contexts. Center faculty are designing and deploying writing assessment tools to diagnose, monitor, and develop written communication skills for undergraduate and graduate business students. In addition, Center faculty are engaged in both theoretical and empirical research into varied aspects of internal and external corporate communication. |
