Erin Kimmerle of USF is working to solve cold cases and identify unidentified human remains through facial models that account for skeletal fractures that the victim may have had. Kimmerlee assists law enforcement and medical examiners in solving cases across the U.S.

“We assist law enforcement and medical examiners. We work with them throughout the country. Cold cases are challenging enough, but if you don’t know who the victims are, those cases fall to the bottom of the line,” said Kimmerle.
