Shi Bai of FAU is working on a mathematical method, lattice-based cryptographic systems, to secure private information, such as text messages. His method demonstrates the use of equations to protect the security of messages by disguising them.
“We are working on a variety of projects in constructing more efficient and effective post-quantum cryptographic schemes, a mathematical solution to perform a unique function to encrypt or decrypt, as well as looking into their application in secure machine learning,” said Bai.
