Donna Petersen of USF has received the She Stepped Up Award from the American Council on Education. The award recognizes Petersen’s contributions in helping USF address the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which include implementing campus-wide policies to protect the health of students.

“Serving the university through the work of the COVID-19 task force for the past year has been incredibly rewarding and humbling.  I’ve had the good fortune to work with an incredible team of dedicated professionals and to get to know people across our campuses that I would never have known otherwise,” Petersen said.
