Through acquisition or development, implement and support high quality computing and telecommunications systems that assist the State University Libraries in managing and providing access to their collections, increase the productivity of library staff, improve inter-library sharing and expand the electronic delivery of information resources to students, faculty and staff. FCLA is integral to the University libraries' success in meeting their responsibilities to select, acquire, organize, and provide access to recorded knowledge, information and data to support the teaching, research, and service mission of the Division of Colleges & Universities and to archive library materials and university research data and preserve both for use by future generations.
