Mission: Created by the Florida Legislature in 1998, the Center functions within the Environmental Science and Policy Program of the University of South Florida. The primary mission of the Center is to provide an organization for faculty and researchers to conduct research relating to the problems and solutions associated with rehabilitation and restoration of Brownfields areas as defined under section 376.79 of the Florida Statutes.
