This center serves to centralize and promote the numerous teaching and research activities that link the University of Florida to French and Francophone research centers and academic institutions. The FFRI also acts as a catalyst to foster new partnerships between UF, France and the Francophone world in the spirit of interdisciplinarity and internationalization that characterizes the University of Florida. The center sponsors lecture series, visiting professorships, film series, theater workshops, exhibits, and symposia.
