Mission	The Northeast Florida Center for Community Initiatives is dedicated to providing leadership to the community through: 1) developing partnerships with local interests in assessing program development and designing program improvements; 2) integrating research and scholarship with the classroom activities and introducing students to hands on, activity based, learning that prepares them for future work; 3) providing support and leadership for addressing the myriad social problems we face as a community; and, 4) creating a University/Community partnership in which education, intellectual development, and community life can grow in an environment of cooperation, information, and dedication.
