Mission |
1) Develop and implement agricultural law programs directed specifically at people in Florida food and agricultural industries, rural youth, practicing attorneys and county faculty and state subject matter specialists; 2) conduct investigations and research on legal issues important to agriculture for the purpose of supporting the Center; 3) serve as liaison for communication between IFAS and the University College of Law; 4) develop field internship programs for University of Florida College of Law students; and combine education in law and science to prepare students and agriculturalists with timely and appropriate information for framing and putting into action environmentally sound, socially acceptable and economically feasible agricultural practices in the production of food, fuel and fiber. |
