| Mission |
The Center for Biomedical and Materials Physics provides a focus for communications and forging collaborations to facilitate studies in Biological Physics, Biomedical Physics, and Materials Physics.
These disciplines are closely related, and their scopes are defined by the American Physical Society (APS) and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).
The Center's vision is in accordance to the FAU Mission:
To provide excellence in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary science education for our students,
To apply the power of inquiry and discovery to fundamental problems of scientific importance, and
To develop internationally recognized research and instructional programs to meet the needs of the region, the nation and the global community. |
