The mission of the University of Miami’s Dr. JT Macdonald Foundation Biomedical Nanotechnology Institute is to:
(1) enable technologies that solve global biomedical and environmental challenges through discovery and innovation,
(2) educate the next generation of scientists, physician scientists, and engineers in nanoscience and nanotechnology, and
(3) engage the community by disseminating technologies and discoveries through STEM activities.
