UWF Center for Applied Psychology is a consulting group within the School of Psychological and Behavioral Sciences aimed at optimizing human performance across the lifespan. The Center is committed to four goals: Research: The Center will conduct interdisciplinary theory- and problem-based research aimed at improving human performance and quality of life. Consultation: The Center will provide consultation and technical assistance to institutions seeking guidance related to applied psychology topics. Training and Education: In order to serve the needs of the local community, the Center, in collaboration with other departments at the University, will offer workshops, seminars, Continuing Education credit and professional development courses. Development of Future Scholars and Leaders: The Center is committed to the growth of students into future scholars and leaders through experiential learning.
