CIMES will continue its online training curriculum, “TRIP,” for the FL DOT by developing new training to collect data for the Department’s Highway Performance Management System. As with the Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) online instruction CIMES previously developed for DOT, the Web-based modules will be task-centered and scenario-based. The multimedia format will use 3D characters, animation, and simulation to provide interactive learning based on actual employee activities.
