• Builds and maintains relationships with executives and business and technical decision-makers at all levels to establish alignment on mutual goals and trust in future interactions.
•Proactively develops a strong understanding of the University’s needs, ranging from individuals to departments and the entire community.
•Works with others to establish priorities, identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new digitalization solutions based on strategies, and presents solutions/ideas based on insights.
•Modernize various resources and processes, which involve on-prem and cloud infrastructure, commercial and custom applications, complex IT security, disaster response and business continuity, and research endeavors
•Seeks feedback from team members, stakeholders, and customers to understand the driver of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction with services, staff performance, operational methods, action plans, and outcomes.
•Created and oversees the Information Technology Administration Partnership Program, which is responsible for managing IT staff and resources within many academic, administrative, and research units. This has been recognized through the higher education sector as an effective hybrid approach to centralized vs decentralized IT organizations within a large enterprise
• Led diverse teams of professionals dedicated to supporting various technologies associated many critical services ranging from enterprise and department IT infrastructures and traditional digital workplace support to project management and strategic planning
• Key leader involved in reorganizing and consolidating IT resources, staff groups, and services to achieve fiscal, workforce, and technology efficiencies
• Contribute to the success of the University by serving on many institutional committees that affect various initiatives involving IT as well as other areas
• Manages many vendor relationships involving significant technology portfolios used throughout the university, including Microsoft.
