The Lawton and Rhea Chiles Center for Healthy Mothers and Babies (LRCC) will promote and conduct research, education, and public service focused on the health of pregnant women, young children and infants. The Center will bring together faculty and other state, national and international experts in maternal and infant health care and service; program development and evaluation; public policy and advocacy; and professional education, to build upon and expand the accomplishments of Governor and Mrs. Chiles in giving babies a healthy start in life.
