The Center for Heterocyclic Chemistry exists to coordinate work in the general area of heterocyclic compounds throughout the University of Florida. It provides guidance and advice to the many areas of science in which heterocyclic compounds are involved and facilitates the exchange of ideas in the subject. It provides the state, nation, and world wide focus for the subject of heterocyclic chemistry.
