Mission: The Florida Climate Center is part of three-tiered system that serves to provide climate data, information, and services for the United States. Affiliated with the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) in Asheville, NC and the Southeast Regional Climate Center (SERCC) in Columbia, SC, the Florida Climate Center should be the first stop for climate data and information for citizens, organizations, educational institutions and private businesses in the state of Florida. We seek to serve the state of Florida by providing historical climate data, information and analyses on extreme climate events, insight into Florida's climate trends, and information about current and emerging climate issues.
