The Intercultural Institute for Educational Initiatives seeks to create new knowledge in international and intercultural education. It does so by strengthening linkages between diverse groups including faculty and students at FIU, internationally-involved organizations in South Florida, and organizations throughout the world. The goal of the process of sharing vision, activities and goals with these partners is to create synergies to build common knowledge about the processes and products of globalization, and to build respect for our interconnectedness.
