Mission: | The mission of the Center for Postsecondary Success (CPS) is to provide support for, and foster collaboration among, those who are interested in conducting research on student success in postsecondary education, and to identify and evaluate institutional, state, and federal policies and programs that may serve to improve student success. The core values of the CPS include: Form collaborative research teams from experts at FSU and beyond; 1. Conduct rigorous, responsive, and relevant research to promote student postsecondary success (hereinafter to be referred to as “postsecondary success”); 2. Contribute to the field in terms of innovative ideas and methodological expertise for postsecondary success; 3. Train the next generation of scholars and researchers to improve the conditions for postsecondary success; 4. Provide timely and credible information to policy makers; and 5. Develop a national presence in the area of postsecondary success research, policy, and practice. |
