Mission: | The mission of the Center is to be a national leader in motion picture visualization, a state leader in independent film production, and a local leader in cinema education, while acting as a bridge between education and the motion picture industry. To accomplish this, the Center is divided into three areas: The Cinematheque, the Studio, and the Forge. Each area will function to focus education, innovation and entrepreneurship in its specific area by engaging students with actual industry leaders in the exploration, research and production of content and products used to tell stories and to make sense of the world through the power of images and cinema. |
