| My Research Background: | My lab studies emerging and re-emerging viruses that pose significant threats to human health. Researchers use molecular biology techniques and tissue culture models, including stem cell-derived 3-dimensional models, to investigate the mechanisms by which significant human pathogens, such as Zika and dengue viruses, disseminate and cause diseases. Our research is supported by grants from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). | |
