FMHI is the largest behavioral health services research center in the United States. The Institute conducts applied research to improve services and outcomes for individuals with mental, addictive, and developmental disorders. FMHI focuses on some of society's most challenging problems through its research, consultation, and training carried out by the FMHI Affiliates. The Affiliates continue to make major strides in their efforts to secure external funding to support its critical activities. Focused on high impact research, FMHI Affiliates currently have contracts and grants totaling over $20 million with various federal and state entities.
