| Mission |
The mission of the Institute is to be a strategic academic partner in supporting high-tech industries in South Florida within the InternetCoast organization. The Institute will be a source of knowledge generation, through research, and knowledge dissemination, through conferences and seminars; a center for IT workforce development, and through the Adams Center, a provider of IT entrepreneurship and venture capital development. The initiatives of the Institute will be broad-based encompassing the resources and scholarship of the Colleges of Business, Engineering and Science at FAU. The Institute will work to further its goals with other FAU units, such as the DeSantis Center for Motion Picture Industry Studies, the Stuart-James Business Advisory, and the Small Business Development Center. |
