The mission of the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship is to provide a set of academic and extracurricular activities that advance the theory and practice of entrepreneurship. The Adams Center aims to affect how new business ventures can be successfully started and how entrepreneurial efforts can be nurtured and managed in a variety of organizational settings. More specifically, the Adams Center focuses its attention on the following activities: 1. To cultivate entrepreneurial leaders through academic partnerships and scholarly research that generates social and economic value locally and globally. 2. Develop educational programs that provide entrepreneurial education that is practical and innovative cultivating students passion to find sustainable solutions to business and social problems. 3. Conduct state-of-the art applied research that advances entrepreneurial education and practices. 4. Provide outreach programs to establish linkage between entrepreneurs, students, and faculty.
