Abstract
The University of Central Florida invention is a methodology to produce concise network dashboards from big data streams so that users can visualize and inspect a network diagram of the underlying data. Critical systems where an operator would need to react quickly to realtime events need to be readily understood by visual inspection. The invention addresses this demand, and the static data set approach is based on building the network from the most important and central nodes first and iteratively, including less important node/variables, which are scaled in size according to their importance.
Benefit
Allows users to work intuitively and with minimal configurationEnables users to produce network diagrams from datasets without previous knowledge of what they containMakes network visualization easier and automatically assigns importance to different nodesMarket Application
