Paul was awarded my PhD in chemistry in 2020 at Florida Atlantic University where I conducted research under professors Lyndon West and Stephane Roche in marine natural products. Paul was a postdoctoral researcher and NIH K99 career development awardee working at the University of Utah under Prof Eric Schmidt. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. His current research focuses on elucidation of terpene biosynthetic pathways in corals and their application to drug development using synthetic biology.
