Active quench protection of REBCO-HTS, no-insulation superconducting coils by placing emphasis on the creation of a symmetric quench to eliminate the axial force that results from the spontaneous quench of a no-insulation coil in a multiple coil magnet. This quench heater supersedes other fast inductive asymmetry quench heaters.
