Stages of Change
Audience: Adults
Description: Many of the behaviors encouraged through educational programming are complex changes that are not adopted immediately. However, this does not mean that a program has not affected the target audience: it does not need to be “all or nothing”. Changes in practices involve “moving through a range of stages, and each stage has its own requirements for institutional support”.

This program is intended for educational professionals focusing in all subject areas who would like to improve their programming and relevancy to stakeholders. Participants will benefit from a better understanding of how their audiences experience change and how to plan, evaluate, and report on programs built on the principles of stages of change.

Time and depth of subject matter may vary based on the needs of the audience.

Subject Areas: Behavioral Sciences
Environmental Sciences
Social Sciences
