Frank Muller-Karger of USF has developed Marine Life 2030, with the goal of establishing a globally coordinated system to deliver ocean knowledge centered around sustainability and conservation. Marine Life 2030 was endorsed by the United Nations on World Ocean’s Day.
“This program integrates expertise across many institutions, countries, and disciplines,” said Muller-Karger. “Societies everywhere need exactly this kind of sustained, all-hands-on-deck effort, and we’re beyond thrilled to have our program endorsed by the UN.”
