USF's Uversky Earns Prestigious Chemistry Fellowship

Vladimir Uversky has been named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. This prestigious, international fellowship recognizes individuals that have been in a senior position for more than five years and have made an impact in any field of the chemical sciences.

Uversky’s research includes the analysis of protein folding, misfolding, and non-folding. His work focuses on characterizing disordered proteins both experimentally and computationally. This research will provide clues to the role of proteins in various biological processes and diseases. Uversky has published more than 800 papers with 52,000 citations.
