The mission of the Center is to provide a unified facility for the synergetic interaction between basic science research and clinical care in understanding the biological and environment factors responsible for the developmental disorders of childhood and the knowledge and skills needed for the optimal clinical evaluation and treatment of these children. Acting as a translation center where knowledge of basic science is translated to clinical care, and questions derived from clinical care are translated to basic science.
