Mission | The Mission of the Center is to develop new therapeutic strategies to promote repair and regeneration of aging and diseased brain. Building on a fourndation of excellence is basic and clinical research, we will focus on translating innovative ideas into industrial partnerships and educational and clinical services to address key needs of the elderly and those suffering from brain injuries and disease. The Center has the capabilities for transforming basic science bench research to the clinic and to biotechnology companies based alon the I-4 corridor. It also serves as a national and international resouce for this type of research transfer. |

The research hubs within the PRRN also provide critical training for the next generation of researchers and health specialists in areas related to viral outbreaks. |
