The purpose of the Environmental Systems Engineering Institute is to provide a means of conducting environmental research for faculty and students from different colleges, departments, and programs in the university. The Institute is primarily concerned with graduate environmental research, education, and student support, but does offer advanced environmental water quality analysis to non-university organizations in order to support the Institute's staff, maintain the laboratory equipment, and provide a technical service to the Florida community.
