Biography

Dr. Yanchang Wang received his Ph. D. degree in 1997 from University of Virginia. After postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine, he joined the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, at Florida State University in 2003. The research interest in the Wang laboratory includes the regulation of cell cycle and stress response to the expression of misfolded proteins by using budding yeast as the model organism. The recent focus is the role of SUMOylation in protein localization.
